Why Management and Business Administration study programme?
Aim of the study programme is to prepare specialists who have wide university education in management and business organization for accounting, commercial activity of various enterprises, insurance companies, personnel management, who would be capable to work successfully in changing business environment. Also the aim is to provide managerial and supervising knowledge and to train the leadership skills in order to achieve the given goals in the organisation. What makes this programme attractive is the possibility to select programme concentration: Business Administration or Marketing and Global Business.
Prof. dr. Lionius Gaizauskas, programme director: The modern world is characteristic of intensive processes of integration and globalization. Labour market requires professionals with a broad scope who are able to work effectively in the global environment. Management and Business Administration programme aims to prepare experts who meet this demand. In reaction to demand, the structure and content of the programme are continually updated and new majors are created as is the case with Marketing and Global Business, in which the studies are carried out in English and half of students are foreigners. The excellence of business and management education makes the Faculty of Economy the first choice for young people looking for success in their management career.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND SELECTION CRITERIA
· Matura (high school leaving) certificate;
· English language proficiency - the level not lower than B2 (following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY
Students can participate in ERASMUS+ mobility programme or use Bilateral cooperation agreements which give an opportunity to study at Partner Universities or do internship abroad.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
A graduate can work as a manager, accountant, bookkeeper, auditor, and businessman/woman, business organization specialist at various governmental organizations, national and foreign enterprises and their subsidiaries as well as other institutions.
