Entry Qualifications: To this programme applicants are accepted from the fields of: Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Road Engineering, Architectural Engineering.

 

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY PROGRAMME?

Study programme is aimed to prepare specialists capable to plan, forecast, design and maintain the development of transport systems and cities on regional and local level, to join transport and communication systems with other urban infrastructure in a planning process, to solve problems of road and railway design, construction, maintenance, repair, reconstruction, also traffic organization and traffic safety, capable to construct and maintain transport and communication facilities, to organize safe traffic on roads and city streets, to economically evaluate and justify design, technological and maintenance solutions, to use modern information technologies, having knowledge and skills necessary for engineering and scientific activities, able to effectively communicate with the specialists of other branches and the public, having a creative and critical way of thinking, able to maintain his/her professional competencies by the whole life learning.

  

WHAT WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

Methodologies of urban engineering and information systems planning, design, management and maintenance, and their application.
To recognize and critically valuate theoretical and practical innovations in the field of urban transport systems in EU and to apply them in scientific and practical activities.
To evaluate the importance of interaction and integration of different fields and directions when solving problematic questions of civil engineering.

According to various international cooperation and exchange programs there is an opportunity to study in Germany, Austria, Finland, Greece, Portugal, South Korea, Taiwan, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and many other countries around the world for one or two semesters.
